On August my dog Cooper tried to get through a small opening in my six foot wooden fence. He got stuck on a nail and the nail cut a 6 x5 surface cut on his stomach, It wasn’t deepbut it needed stitches, On the morning of August 24 2014 I went outside to get Cooper ready for the vet when I found my cat Milo grasping for air in my front yard. I thought he had a hairball stuck then I realized it wa more serious. So I took him with Cooper and I to the vet. As soon as I walked in with Milo they took him from me and ran him to the back, The dr. said he was dieing. They aked to do exrays so we can maybe find the reason for him to die. He was a healthy 9 year old cat. Full of life. They exrays showed he had been shot with a pellet gun. It caused his lungs to fill with blood and collasp. He had to be put to sleep.I had no other option. My Milo , I am the only mother he knows has been shot and killed by my neighbor who won’t admit it…They hate my cats and they shoot pellet guns in the back yard. I also heard the shots. I just didn’t think he shot my cat or I would of went outside. I brought Milo home and burried him in my yard … My dog Cooper had to have stitches and a drain tube installed. Right now he has to wear a cone on his head so he don’t chew his stitches.. I have severalmeds to give him everal times aday,,, All this happened this weekend .The vet bill was $665.00.It was my electric bill money that was due tomorrow. This was a very bad timing for this to happen.I have a small business, its very slow at this time…Business’s always slow down during the begining og school yesr.Parents need all their money for school clothes. Wich causes me to scrape my money together to keep my bills paid. I took the police to the boys door but without an witness there is nothing they can do. Even though he even changed his story to the officer several times. I really need help paying this vet bill, I have the bill for proof…
Those of you who have lost pets know how devastating this can be. Please donate what you can even a dollar or two.
