The San Isidro Labrador Chapel was conceived during the time of Rev. Fr. Domingo Labrilla\’s ordination as a military chaplain last July 2, 2005 . This is the way of giving thanks to the LORD and give HIM the glory by producing a priest from a small and remote barrio .
The construction started a year after with a small amount of money to start with and little by little the chapel have risen up by the help of people who believed in our cause and to help increase the faith of the people to our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy mass for the annual fiesta , baptism and other sacramentals ( esp. Blessings and Cathechism ) were being held on this chapel for the people . Since our construction in 2007 , almost a thousands people have benefited and tremendous transformation and increase of faith with our folks.
The construction is on going until November 2013 , when Typhoon Yolanda ( International name : Haiyan ) hit the region where the chapel was badly damaged . Roof trusses were blown twisted and cannot be reinstalled anymore. We decided to re-design and re-build the chapel to a more rigid and stable structure .
It is for this reason that we ask for fund and an opportunity for everyone to be blessed as well. The money that you will donate will go a long way in helping the people re-affirm their love and commitment to the Lord.
Whatever you give now , the Lord will return it to you a thousand fold as He promised in Luke 6:38 \” Give and it shall be given to you. Good measure pressed down , shaken together , running over , will they pour into the fold of your garment, for the measure you measure with , will be measured back to you\”
